Well, golly! Why didn't you say so in the first place? The vault is sealed using something called a Gemlock. You'll need to find the four gemstones hidden throughout the base, solve the riddle on the door, and place the stones in the correct order. Odd way of locking a door, if you ask me. But I don't make the rules. I'm just here to provide exposition.<br>

[[Continue|mutieskad]]An enormous, mutant Skad, ten times bigger and uglier than any Skad you've seen before, sits in the vault chewing on the magic crystal. The crystal is too hard, however, and as the Skad chomps down its teeth shatter! The beastly monstrosity unleashes a hideous howl of pain and rage. It throws the offending crystal against the wall.<br>
[[Continue|slkgjkls]]The crystal clinks harmlessly against the wall and clatters to the floor. Just then the mutant Skad spots you! It lumbers to its feet and charges you like a crazed minotaur!<br>
